ABOUT ME

I’m a visual artist and photographer based in Iceland, with a background in street photography, photojournalism and visual storytelling. My work is shaped by a curiosity about culture and everyday life. This interest has led me to document people and places across continents.

I first got into photography because of the raw, unscripted rhythm of the streets. Over the years, during my travels, I’ve captured quick, fleeting moments in cities like Tehran, Bangkok, São Paulo, Sydney, and Melbourne. I focus on how light, shadow, movement, and people come together to form quiet, often overlooked scenes. I’m drawn to the tension between stillness and chaos, anonymity and character.

Lately, I’ve expanded into film photography and abstract visual forms, exploring slower, more contemplative methods. These practices complement my documentary eye and create space for more personal, atmospheric narratives.
